《旅游职业英语口笔译实务》第一册每个单元有七个模块，前三个部分为口译，第四和第五模块为笔译，第六模块为单元涉及的语言文化和口笔译技巧介绍，最后一部分为口笔译综合训练。 “句子口译”部分无论从句子内容和句子结构而言，都相对简单，其目的为热身训练，使教材使用者能快速进入单元岗位主题并启动翻译模式。 “对话口译”部分选取自工作场景常见对话，是对口译中涉及到的听力、快速反应以及口语表达等能力的综合训练。 “语篇口译”侧重句子衔接技巧、口译笔记技巧、视译、交替传译等技能的训练。 与“句子口译”部分相比，“句子笔译”部分的句子篇幅更长、内容更专业、结构更复杂，因此对选词、语法、修辞等方面的要求也随之增加。句子笔译主要侧重训练词义选择、词类转换等词的译法。 “语篇笔译”是每个单元难度最高的部分，需要的教学时间也相对较长，在强化词汇、语法、句子结构等语言知识的同时，可以着重训练增词、减词、拆分、合并等长难句翻译技巧。 “文化和技能沙龙”模块介绍一些本单元出现或相关的文化要点以及口笔译知识和技巧，并配有示例，清楚易懂。 最后的“口笔译练习”模块，选取工作岗位中的真实翻译任务，旨在复习单元内容的同时，拓展所学翻译知识和技能。
